Tony
(48) works as a mobility consultant at
York
Hospital
and has been riding motorcycles for 30 years. They include four trips to the
Isle of Man TT, track days at Cadwell Park and even a go at being a sidecar
passenger in formula 2 Sidecars and is formally a team leader for the Auto 66

Tony
started his biking life on a KTM Comet 1n 1977 and now rides a Honda VTR 1000
Firestorm, with many bikes in-between, ranging from a
Kawasaki
KH250 to a Suzuki GSXR1100.

Very
much the “Rookie” of the trip, Hag
(54) works as the Phlebotomy Manager at York Hospital and
has only been riding motorcycles for 2 years.
His
last year has been spent training with the
York
Advanced Motorcyclists group which is part of The
Institute
of
Advanced Motorists
. Hag passed his advanced test in September and now hopes to train as an
observer within the group.
Starting off with a Suzuki 500 Hag soon changed to a Yamaha Fazer 600. Since
passing the advanced test he now
rides
a Honda CBF 1000.
The picture above was taken at Dunnet Head on a circular motorcycle tour of
Scotland
. As can be seen from the eyes, this was at the end of a very long day just
before arriving at John O’ Groats.
